This special Kilchoman release for The Nantucket Series is limited to just 150 bottles, with only 80 available to reserve.
Each bottle will be signed by James Wills of Kilchoman, great-grandson of Spencer Wilks. As Managing Director of the Rover Company, Spencer worked alongside his brother Maurice on the original Land Rover project and helped bring the vehicle from an idea to production in 1948.
The bottle itself was designed specifically for The Nantucket Series, featuring familiar Series markings including the silhouette of Nantucket on the rear label and the Vineyard Series Land Rover silhouette on the front label, one of the most recognizable Series Land Rovers around.
A rare bottle that brings together Kilchoman, Land Rover history, and The Nantucket Series in a very personal way.
About The Release
Following the sold-out Vineyard Series 5th Anniversary release, which was limited to 276 bottles, we returned to Kilchoman for an even smaller release to mark the 5th Nantucket Series.
The Kilchoman Nantucket Series Fifth Anniversary release comes from a single Refill Ruby Port Quarter Cask, #1999/2019. Filled in November 2019 and matured on Islay for nearly six and a half years, it was bottled in April 2026 at 56.2% ABV. The port cask brings a rich fruit character to Kilchoman’s signature peat smoke, with notes of berries, spice and oak.
Less than 150 bottles were produced from the cask.
The Land Rover connection is an important part of this release. Anthony and Kathy Wills founded Kilchoman Distillery in 2005, and Kathy is the granddaughter of Spencer Wilks, Managing Director of the Rover Company and one of the key figures behind the original Land Rover.
Spencer owned Laggan Estate on Islay, where early Land Rover prototypes were driven and tested. Anthony and Kathy still live at Laggan today, creating a direct family connection between Kilchoman, Islay and the early history of Land Rover.
For this release, the bottle was designed specifically for The Nantucket Series. It features the silhouette of Nantucket along with the silhouette of the Vineyard Series Series 1, one of the most recognizable trucks associated with our events.
Of the less than 150 bottles produced, only 80 will be available to reserve, and each reserved bottle will be signed by James Wills of Kilchoman.
