We are excited to be selling some prints from our inaugural Vineyard Series event. To help raise awareness and further research for Pediatric Cancer, we will be donating all profits from every print sold to The Callahan Murphy Hare Foundation. From the early stages of the Vineyard Series Matt and Kate have been supporters of our vision and passion to gather these unique vehicles. In showing appreciation for their support we are excited to make an impact towards their foundation and a great cause.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will contribute to research Dr. Margaret Lamb, a researcher and oncologist who specializes in bone marrow transplant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, is conducting around CAR-T cell therapy. CAR-T cell therapy is one of the latest innovations in cancer treatment, that enables more targeted therapy by modifying the patient’s T-cells to more effectively attack the cancer. This type of treatment has been proven to also improve long term side effects.
The Callahan Murphy Hare Foundation was established in August 2021 by Matt and Kate Hare following the birth of their son, Callahan. Callahan was diagnosed with rare infant B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) the day after he was born on April 12, 2021. While ALL is the most common pediatric cancer in older children, it is rare in babies, with approximately 90 babies diagnosed globally each year.
As Kate and Matt navigated Callahan’s treatment journey and learned more about pediatric cancers in general, they recognized the importance of fostering national and international collaboration across organizations, healthcare systems and researchers to find new and kinder therapy options for children fighting cancer, along with advocating for early detection. Funds raised through this foundation will benefit specific research and drug development programs at children’s hospitals around the country. Thank you for making an impact!
